Anti Brake Noise Products

There is a wide range of brake products available to help prevent brake squeal and stop pad vibration. Not all of them work and many are temporary fixes only, so watch out for gimmicks!

We use and recommend the PBR branded anti-squeal adhesive. This helps to absorb the vibration that causes the squeal and it also acts as an adhesive material to cushion the pad and caliper contact.

It only takes a couple of minutes to apply anti-brake noise products when fitting brake pads.

Brake Fluid

Brake fluids available in a variety of brands and grades (Dot 3, Dot 4, Dot 5, Dot 5.1, silicon fluid). Speak to your Brake specialist about which brand and grade suits your vehicle and driving style.

A Brake fluid flush takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Brake Sensors

Brake sensors vary in length and complexity of construction and plugs. They are sold in pairs or singularly. We currently stock the Lucas Autohaus and TRW brands.

Hand Brake Bands

Hand brake bands cannot be re-banded and must be replaced once they are worn out. We use and recommend the PBR brand.

Hand brake bands are positioned at the back of the brake assembly. That is why you should allow approximately 1.5 hours to fit new bands.

Hand Brake Shoes

Hand brake shoes vary extensively in width, diameter, the shape of the steel backing and the location of the drilled holes. There is a variety of brands available including RDA, Protex, Bonders and Bendix. Speak to your Brake specialist about which brand, and brake shoes will fit your vehicle.

The time taken to fit hand brake shoes is approximately 1.5 hours.
